UNKNOWN VARIETIES – Marselan
We are talking to you today about a small grape variety that is very local, Marselan ! This little-known black grape with white juice was nevertheless born in the town of Marseillan, located less than 20 kilometers from the estate !
Born in 1961 from a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache Noir, there are just under 6,000 hectares planted in France. The finesse and elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon is therefore associated with the great generosity and « garrigue » olfactory tones of Grenache. Perfect for adapting to our climate and thus offering fruity, full-bodied wines with a good length in the mouth !
Do not hesitate to come and discover this grape variety in our cellar with our Marselan Syrah blend in red with our Greg and Juju cuvée or in its single-varietal rosé version with the tender Greg and Juju Marselan. Without forgetting our top of the range raised in amphoras: NARRATUR!
At the tasting at the estate from Monday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Friendly and free tasting!
