The “Petit Pont” is the only way to cross the railway line to reach Domaine Preignes le Vieux. Enchanting and picturesque, it marks the entrance to the estate, a first step and doorway into a world of new discoveries.

A pure product of the Languedoc Garrigue, it perfectly expresses the spirit of a good “wine to enjoy with friends”. The recipe is simple: A great investment of time and energy nurturing the vines to produce exceptional grapes, followed by gentle pressing to unveil their roundness and fruitiness. Le Petit Pont White

The fruit fragrances of the Colombard and Vermentino excels in this unique white wine. Fresh, with the exact acidity and volume in the mouth

Degree : 12.5%
Grape : 70% Vermentino / 30% Colombard. Average age of vines: 12 years
Soil : Clay - gravel
Culture : Trellising wire, Guyot pruning, 4000 pieds/ha
Harvest : Mechanical
Yield : 70 hl/ha
Vinification : Yeasting with neutral yeast. Low-temperature fermentation, over a 12-day period.
Pressing : Pneumatic pressing with press-juice separation.
Service temperature : Chilled. 8-10 °C.
At table : A delightful companion as an aperitif, to serve with seafood or an onion tart.

Le Petit Pont Rosé
(Pays d’Oc – Indication Géographique protégée)

Clean and intense reddish colour, mature cherries aromas of medium-high intensity,
persistent flavour and noticeable balance in the mouth.

Grape : 75% Grenache / 35% Cinsault
Soil : Volcanic / Clay - gravel
Culture : Trellising wire, Guyot pruning, 4000 pieds/ha
Harvest : Mechanical
Yield : 70 hl/ha
Vinification : Pellicular maceration for 4 hours in the press. Fermentation at 16-18°, over a 12-day period.
Pressing : Pneumatic
Service temperature : Chilled. 8-10 °C.
At table : White meats, poultry. Or on its own.

Le Petit Pont Red
(Pays d’Oc – Indication Géographique protégée)

This wine is garnet-red coloured with spicy aromas of ripered fruit. On the palate it is round with a good presence. Best drunk young to fully appreciate its fruitiness.

Grape : 60% Grenache / 25% Cinsault / 15% Cabernet Sauvignon
Soil : Volcanic / Clay - gravel
Culture : Trellising wire, Guyot pruning, 4000 pieds/ha
Harvest : Mechanical
Yield : 70 hl/ha
Vinification: Yeasting with neutral yeast. Fermentation at 26 to 32°, over a 12-day period.
Service temperature : At room temperature. 16-18 °C.
At table : A good match with beef or lamb, especially with barbecue or chilli sauces.
