Also called anthesis, this step is essential in the life of the vine, it is a quick step that only lasts a few days. It is these discreet flowers that need to be fertilized in order to give birth to grapes. For flowering to go well, warm, dry and sunny weather is needed.

If this is respected, then we can hope for a fertilization of a maximum of flowers and therefore a lot of grapes! If these conditions are not respected, we then witness the coulure of the flower, which dries up even before being fertilized.
